Note:
This strategy will not come out any time the same way because the enemy
will not always act exactly the same way. But stay to the keypoints and it
will work quite well. It even works on impossible, though you will have to
change the building plan then and reduce the number of secondary heroes.
But the pegasi (s.b.) and the dendroids will help you win.
Day 1:
Take Wei down to the south, take the wood, visit fountain, take ore and
visit all scholars in the east. Lady Xiu visits the black tent and moves to
the ships. Hire hero in town and give troops to Xiu. Alternative: Skip
water Magic and take archery (on day 2) instead.
Day 2:
Take the gold, take leadership, wisdom and pathfinding (Scholars 1, 4, and
5 if counting from the top) take the teleporter. Lady Xiu visits stones and
takes the northern (!) ship.
Day 3:
Hire secondary hero, give Grand Elves to Wei. Take Wei to the learning
stones, the well and take the southern ship. Donīt visit the town! Give
centaurs to Xiu.
Day 4:
Move both heroes south. Land Wei as far south as anyhow possible. Land Xiu
close to the goldmine. Move Wei around Lord Theor. He is too strong to be fought right now. Only
on day 6 you can win in this fight. If you are fighting him on day 6 donīt
waste moves and donīt take too heavy losses. The most important task is to
conquer Madake on day 7 and the two devilish towns also.
Day 5:
Wei takes the Fortress and moves to the south. Taking NO! mines and
and letting the stronghold unconquered. Xiu takes mine and heads south.
Hire another hero, give troops to Xiu and head south to take as many mines
as you can. Donīt take the stronghold to the east in the underground.
Day 6:
Wei takes the gate and conquers Kitara. Xiu conquers stronghold. In
Kitara: Hire one hero to go east. Take the resources and the pegasi behind
the borderguard. Move as far west as you can. Hire another hero to take the
mines in the underground close to the gate. Hire two other heroes to take
as many mines as you can in the west. This road is a dead end so donīt
worry about this. Hire two other heroes, let them take the teleporter and
in the teleporter area the northwest teleporter again blocking the road
from Madake to the teleporter. Town portal Wei back to Nova Madake and take
all the troops there.
By this day you should be able to build the dragon cliff. So your building order in Nova Madake should be creature aimed. Enchanted Spring, Dendroid arches, Unicorn glade, mage guild level 2 and dragon cliffs with city hall on day one.
Town portal back, take the silver pegasi and build a fort. You will have: 5 pegasi, 30 Grand elves, 70 silver pegasi, 1 Gold and 1 Green dragon, two unicorns and 3 dendroids.
The enemy will come up, eliminating your waiting heroes but waisting spell points there and will attack Wei immediately. You will face: 8 AD, 16 ES, 24 PL, 40 C and some more. With a little luck you can win this fight with loosing only the unicorns, the dendroids (may even survive but let them stay in Kitara, they would slow you down too much), the pegasi and 5-8 Grand Elves. Slow and blind are the key spells.
Day 7:
Wipe the sweat off your forehead and clear the area i.e.: Your secondary
heroes can take the remaining mines. Xiu takes and holds Kitara delivering
Ballista and ammocart to Wei. Wei takes the teleporter and takes the
northern teleporter to Madake. From Madake you can hire other heroes. The
two inferno towns there should be unguarded or guarded by small forces.
With some magic heroes with combined forces of two or three heroes you can
take both towns. One is straight to the east and the other northeast. Visit
the stables.
Day 8:
Wei visits stables, teleports home, takes the fast troops, teleports to the
infernos and takes the AD and the ES. Moves back to the teleporter and
captures Fynnel. Will work with the last step, believe me. Take all mines
and dwellings with your secondary heroes. Concentrate their armies on one
or two of them and throw away the rest. Hire one hero in fynnel, take the
southeast teleporter and capture mines over there. Send another hero from
fynnel to the north taking the mines from west to east.
Day 9:
Beat the secondary heroes which come out of the teleporter with Xiu. You
can do this, remember you have two infernos with lots of troops left. And
the main hero from the town in the southwest will stay there. Move Wei
through the southeast teleporter. Take the stronghold in the west and
follow the road northwest. You will see an inferno there: Take it.
Day 10:
Let Wei follow the road back south. Stay south, do not conquer other cities
and stay just outside the last inferno on the surface. Do not try to attack
the hero in here. He will come out. Once again it will be a tough fight. 1
Gold, 2-3 Green Dragons, 60+ Silver pegasi, 20-30 Grand Elves, some
unicorns, 4 Arch Devils and 6-8 ES against 10 AD, 20 ES and lots of other
inferno troops. Once again, slow and blind will win this fight, but expect
losses.
In the next 4 days, you can conquer the whole orcish territories, taking
all cities and mines down there. But you can also wait 4 days and start the
conquering of the surface with the enforced troops. It doesnīt matter in
what order you take the enemies.
One tip: Implosion is a nice spell when fighting against 800 familiars.
Another tip: Wait a little more to reduce losses, you will need your
troops. Follow the hints you are given.
Tip No.3: Donīt take mines with Wei. Hire secondary heroes to do this and
throw them away afterwards.
By the end of week 3 you should have conquered the surface territories, gotten all resources and mines and at the end of week 4 have an army big enough to get in both prisons. Afterwards take the grail to the city you like and wait for the enemy army to come out. Depending on how long this will take you will have a more or less hard fight. But your stats will be significantly higher than your enemies and you know how to fight inferno troops. It is higly probable that you will have berserk at this time. Poor devils!
For the building after day 8: Rebuild all rampart towns as fast as you can. Bring them to produce creatures very early. You will need all you can get as fast as you can get it. But if you donīt have berserk, build up mage guilds fast. You have to build the upgraded dwellings in one town only. Take all other cities as money collectors but donīt build dwellings there.
